Personal trainer at gym is refusing me training that I paid for?
I recently signed up with a personal trainer for 2 days a week for $500 for 3 months.
I have not had any sessions yet.
This is what happened. I came in the first day i was scheduled for training and I was very upset about something personal that happened. I talked in private to the trainer only to let him know I was going through some tough times.
I didn’t expect him to say “I can not work with someone who is not all there” I need you to be focused”
I replied that I am just explaining what happened and why I am upset. I need this training to get out of my house and to focus on fitness modeling (my goal)
He still refused to work with me until I get my “head together”
Now here is what’s strange. He said he is going to make me take a month off and charge me $200 for “email consulting” for 1month.
I said I don’t want that, I want what I paid for… the $1500 that’s already charged to my card.
Does he have the right to refuse me because I came in upset, talked, and calmed down? That’s all that happened.
The Manager was no help. He said it was up to him even though the gym pays the trainer, he does not work independently.
What do I do now? They are taking advantage of me. I just want what I paid for, so what if I had a bad day?
